CVR presents green solutions at the Sustainable Habitat Cluster Conference

CVR was present and presented some of its projects at the "2024 Sustainable Habitat Cluster Conference," which took place on April 19th at the Aveiro Congress Center.

The Green and Digital Transition was the theme of the conference, aiming to bring solutions to current challenges to the discussion and promote interaction among participants.

Researcher Lucas Nascimento presented "Construction as a Solution to Promote Circularity in the Agri-food Industry." "Life Cycle Assessment: a tool for industry" and "Green Technologies, Eco-innovation, Energy, and Circularity" were other solutions presented as posters at the conference by Lucas Nascimento and Luciana Faria.

These presentations are integrated into the objectives of the Mission2GG Base Funding Project - Grow Green, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (recuperarportugal.gov.pt), framed within the Interface Mission.

Researcher Ana Rita Costa presented the BioShoes4All project, highlighting the advantages of incorporating footwear production waste and post-consumer footwear into products for the construction industry.

"Footwear waste recycling: towards sustainable roads" is the title of the poster presented.

BioShoes4All - Innovation and Capacity Building in the Footwear Industry for Sustainable Bioeconomy is a project supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (recuperarportugal.gov.pt) and the European NextGeneration EU Funds.
