Summary:

This project is structured around four main areas:

1. Characterization of the BioCircular ecosystem, including the mapping of stakeholders, resources, and circular economy solutions.

2. Talent development, through specialized training and platforms that connect professionals with opportunities in the sector.

3. Transfer of bioeconomy solutions, providing direct support to SMEs, impact assessment, and dissemination of best practices.

4. Cross-border cooperation, through the creation of a BioCircular network and a digital hub for knowledge sharing and the promotion of joint projects.

Overall, the project aims to strengthen innovation, sustainability, and regional competitiveness by promoting collaboration between companies, research centers, and public administrations in the field of the bioeconomy.

International Conference Green Horizons brought together experts in Guimarães to discuss the environmental challenges of the future.
