Synthesis
Description

This project aims to create platform Fibrenamics Green for scientific knowledge transfer and technical of the University of Minho, through the CVR, for companies, to develop innovative technologies and products based on waste from the textile, footwear, furniture, automotive and construction.

Goals
- To foster the transfer of knowledge, interdisciplinary and multi-sector through various integration activities between the different actors involved, particularly those involved in the research and development companies in order to enhance the generation of innovation;
- Demonstrate innovative technologies developed over the past years for the processing of waste from these industries into value-added products, and carried out the necessary initiatives to enable their transfer to business;
- Develop integration and demonstration activities that will enable the sharing and creation of knowledge as the basis, in the future, the establishment of new waste recovery projects incorporating science and technology, exchanging engagement and university-company synergies.

Italian school students intern at CVR
Four students from the Italian school IIS "A. Olivetti" interned at CVR. The objective of this exchange is to internationalize their skills, strengthen their language abilities, broaden horizons and anticipate their entry into the job market. CVR welcomed the students as part of the Financiamento Base Mission2GG - Grow Green project.
Green Financial Instruments for a More Sustainable Future
The commitment to the future and the need to promote a more sustainable planet reinforce the necessity of creating mechanisms to finance the transition to a low-carbon economy. Frameworks are fundamental documents in the process of issuing green bonds. CVR helps to construct this document aligned with the Principles published by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).
