Synthesis

Description:

The project Movbio aims at the energetic valorization of biomass resulting from pruning activities at the Portuguese-Spanish border and is not currently being used systematically. Specifically, it will concentrate on the theoretical and experimental analysis of the possibilities of valorization of pruning biomass existing in the areas of application of the project, with the objective of its use for energy production, especially in industries in the tertiary sector.

Goals:

- Allow the recovery of the existing biomass that currently does not have a defined use circuit and that does not have energy use due to its special characteristics;

- Assess the feasibility of technical and economic adaptation of pre-treatment and thermal exploitation processes;

- To valorize energetically the biomass of pruning of agricultural origin (vineyards, olive groves, orchards) and urban (parks and gardens);

- Strengthen the economic model, making it more sustainable through efficient use of residual biomass and promotion of business innovation.

Sustainable Finance
The CVR, in partnership with ISQ, is promoting an initiative that aims to bring the topic of “Sustainable Finance” to debate.
Italian school students intern at CVR
Four students from the Italian school IIS "A. Olivetti" interned at CVR. The objective of this exchange is to internationalize their skills, strengthen their language abilities, broaden horizons and anticipate their entry into the job market. CVR welcomed the students as part of the Financiamento Base Mission2GG - Grow Green project.
